Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Chalgrove, Chapel Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 9 March 2020 Coming into force: 19 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of main sewer works which are anticipated to be completed 8 April 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Chapel Lane at its junction with High Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Brinkinfield Road, or Fairfax Road, Monument Road, High Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T7362/AC)

Southampton Street & Berner's Way (Faringdon) Proposed Shared-Use Cycle Track
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct the following features on Southampton Street and Berner's Way in Faringdon to help improve pedal cyclist safety in the area: Shared-use cycle track:
Southampton Street - from the southern side of Ferndale Street, southwards on the footpath link to Southampton Street for 21* metres.

Berner's Way-on the footpath leading west from the western most point of Berners Way for a distance of 20* metres.

All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature.

, or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND, between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Faringdon Library, Gloucester Street, Faringdon, SN7 7HY from 2pm to 5.30pm Monday & Wednesday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5.30pm Tuesday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 7pm Friday, and from 9.30am to 1pm on Saturday. Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 10 April 2020. The County Council will consider any objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref.
