NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 18 May 2020 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. Orders 1 & 2 replace the Oxfordshire County Council (Brightwell-cum-Sotwell) (Speed limits) Order 2017 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Didcot Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2019. Order 3 is new. The effect of orders 1 & 2, which come into force on 25 May is to introduce a 40mph speed limit on A4130 Calvin Thomas Way from the Slade End (Wantage Road) roundabout to the Hithercroft roundabout; and Order 3. Introduces 'No Right Turn' restrictions for traffic entering and leaving the St Edwards Homes housing development access road onto the A4130 Calvin Thomas Way; redirected traffic will have to turn at the roundabouts. Both matters were previously covered by temporary traffic orders which are now revoked -the Oxfordshire County Council (Wallingford, A4130 Calvin Thomas Way) (Temporary Speed Reduction) Order 2019; and the Oxfordshire County Council (Wallingford, A4130 Calvin Thomas Way) (Temporary Turn Restrictions) Order 2019.
