ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) & 15(2) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Oxford, Mansfield Road Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Date of Order: 27 April 2020 Coming into force: 1 May 2020 This Order is being introduced because of building development work which is anticipated to take 2 years to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit parking by suspending parking bays both sides of Mansfield Road between Savile House and Savile Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exceptions are included for emergency service vehicles and for the purpose of the works. This Order is anticipated to remain in force for approximately 2 years and the Council is satisfied this is appropriate based on the proposed building works to exceed the normal maximum prohibition period of 18 months. The order will be revoked at the conclusion of the Works The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford City) (Designation and Regulation of Pay and Display Parking Places) Order 2017 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.
