ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) Notice of Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Mixbury, Featherbed Lane Date of Order: 2 March 2020 Coming into force: 9 March 2020 This Order is being introduced for road safety during junction and improvement works which are anticipated to be completed 1 January 2021.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily reduce the national 60mph speed limit to 30mph from Church Lane from approx. 120 metres southwest of Church Lane north-eastwards for 730 metres. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7418/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Fritwell, North Street
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 2 March 2020 Coming into force: 9 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway patching works which are anticipated to be completed 24 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in North Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via Fritwell Road, Somerton Road Ardley, Raghouse Lane, East Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref.T7296/AC)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Fewcott, Fritwell Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16 March 2020 Coming into force: 23 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway patching works which are anticipated to be completed on 22 April 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Fritwell Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Fewcott Road - East Street -B4100 - A43 - B430-Ardley Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
