Former Cardiff Blues lock James Down joins following a spell in Russia with Lokomotiv Penza, while ex-Hartpury fly-half Tom Price bolsters Chinnor’s options at ten.
The group of new recruits is completed by centres Will Blakemore, who switches codes after signing from London Broncos, and former England Sevens man Lewis Jones.
Director of rugby, Richard Thorpe, said: “I am pleased to announce the first tranche of our new players for the 2022/23 season.
“Whilst we carry forward the core of our squad from last year, we have made some strategic recruitments in key positions.
“The above players have been with us since the beginning of pre-season and have integrated well.
“I am excited to see them in action in our upcoming friendlies.”
Chinnor have already re-signed five members of last season’s squad.
Conor Brockschmidt, Keston Lines, Charley Robinson, Jack Walsh and new captain George Grose are all staying at the club.
Chinnor start the season at Darlington Mowden Park on September 3.
