OXFORD United have moved quickly to tie down several key players to new contracts this summer.

James Henry yesterday became the latest member of the squad to sign fresh terms as he committed to the club until 2024.

Sam Baldock, Elliott Moore, Billy Bodin, Alex Gorrin and Cameron Brannagan have also signed new deals since the end of last season, with the latter turning down a move to Blackpool to put pen to paper.

It means only four senior players are in the final 12 months of their contracts.

Striker Matty Taylor is the most high-profile, while Gorrin only signed a one-year deal earlier this summer.

John Mousinho’s contract also runs out in 2023, although these days the club captain is more commonly seen in the dugout as part of Karl Robinson’s coaching staff.

Meanwhile, new signing Jodi Jones last week agreed a one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months after impressing on trial.

The rest of United’s first-team squad still have at least two years left on their deals, including the other five summer signings to date.

Here is a rundown on the contract situation at the U’s as things stand.
