OXFORD United Women are determined to keep the hammer down against Plymouth Argyle.

The U’s are four games unbeaten heading into Sunday’s clash with the Pilgrims at Court Place Farm (2pm), thanks to wins in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup and National League Cup.

Attention now returns to FA Women’s National League Southern Premier, as fifth-placed United host a side who sit 12th in the table.

Coach Kath Faulkner told the club’s official website: “We are working hard in training to aim to keep this run going, we have no intention of slowing down.

“It is great we are getting goals from all of the girls, it really shows our strength in the squad.

“We have many clinical players that can cause a problem for any opponent.”

Four players were on the scoresheet in the cup wins over Bridgwater United and Fulham on the last two weekends, with top-scorer Beth Lumsden netting in both matches.

The U’s are aiming to make it seven wins out of seven at Court Place Farm this season.
