EDDIE Pepperell will aim to build some momentum at the Spanish Open.
The Abingdon golfer tees off for his opening round at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid at 2.30pm today, alongside France’s Romain Langasque and Haotong Li, from China.
Pepperell secured his first top-20 finish since May at last week’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
The Frilford Heath member went under-par in all four rounds at St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.
It was enough for the 30-year-old to end the weekend in a tie for 17th at nine-under par.
