OXFORD City's Vanarama National League South season has been suspended for two weeks.

The competition's board has decided this morning to halt the campaign with immediate effect following talks with clubs this week over funding.

All of tomorrow's games in National Leagues North and South have been postponed, but not in the National League.

City were without a match tomorrow anyway, but were due to play three times in the next fortnight.

It comes after the National League's £10m share of the government’s winter survival package reached its three-month expiry, with clubs given the choice of accessing individual loans, sharing a central loan or suspending the campaign altogether.

City had said they favoured playing on.
