CRAIG Holland enjoyed a stellar month to top the points and try-scoring rankings in November.

The Oxford Mail have been compiling league statistics from clubs who submit match reports and can reveal the top-three for overall points, tries scored and points kicked.

Chinnor winger Holland, who has also been playing at fly-half recently, scored 42 points last month and crossed five times in National League 1.

He nearly made it a clean sweep, finishing just one point behind Banbury scrum-half Ed Phillips in the kicking king rankings.

Holland's haul also sees him sit top of the overall try-scoring leaderboard with ten, while he has climbed to second in the 2018/19 points standings, leapfrogging injured teammate Caolan Ryan.

Phillips, though, is proving the player to beat as he has extended his lead at the top of the overall points rankings and is already in triple figures.

The half-back's accuracy from the tee, evident in the fact he now tops the kicking king competition, and try-scoring ability already make him the red-hot favourite to be top of the pile at the end of the season.
