CROPREDY got back to winning ways in the Oxfordshire Senior League with a 2-1 victory over Middleton Cheney.

But they had to do it the hard way in the Premier Division clash, coming from behind after Ross Atkins had fired the visitors ahead.

Cropredy, who had fallen to back-to-back defeats, levelled ten minutes before half-time through skipper Chris Horn.

They took the lead on the hour mark when Jack Welch finished well, and held on to secure victory.

Meanwhile, East Oxford went top of the Oxford City FA League after beating Masons Arms 3-0 thanks to goals from James Bruce (2) and Ryan Powell.
