At least five people have been killed after a rain-swollen river flooded a gorge in the southern Italian region of Calabria, officials said.
The flood hit a group of hikers in the Raganello Gorge.
Italian news agency Ansa said 12 people were taken to safety after the flood. It is unclear how many people are missing.
