A "horrific" attack in an Oxford park which saw a 14-year-old girl raped and another sexually assaulted has been condemned.
These offences occurred earlier this year between about 5.15pm to 6pm in the evening on Tuesday, July 28.
The victims, two 14-year-old girls, got into conversation with four males who they did not know in Florence Park.
The victims and two of the males then went to Cowley Marsh Recreation Ground, and in a secluded wooded area, one of the victims was then raped by one of the males.

The other victim was sexually assaulted by the other male, and after the offences, both victims left the park and contacted the police.
A boy was arrested in connection with the investigation, but following further enquiries, it was established the boy was not involved in the offences.
He has since been released without charge, says Thames Valley Police.
A 20-year-old man from Oxford was then arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.
Officers say that he has since been released on police bail with conditions until Thursday, January 14, 2027.

This is not the first time an instance like this has been reported to have happened in Oxford's Florence Park.
Back in 2023, Thames Valley Police were investigating rapes which had occurred in September and November of the year before in the same area.
Councillor Emily Kerr, who represents the St Mary's ward on Oxford City Council, uses the park regularly and has condemned the attacks as horrific.
Reacting to the arrest and victims' claims, she said: "This is a horrific attack and the community will be devastated by it.
Men’s violence against women and girls, in this case children, has got to stop.

"My thoughts are with the victims and their families. Women and children have the right to feel safe walking around their local communities.
"I use this park all the time, as do so many local residents and the fact that something so awful has happened will make many feel less safe.
"I urge everyone to stand up against sexism and misogyny whenever it occurs and work together to end this epidemic of male violence against women and girls."

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sarah Tibble of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said: "As part of our thorough investigation we have carried out forensic examinations and searches at the parks, supported and taken statements from the victims and other witnesses, undertaken phone enquiries, carried out CCTV enquiries, undertaken ID parades, worked directly with local communities to identify several potential witnesses, and made two arrests.
