The Oxford Mail has opened up a book of condolence for a man in his 60s who died after an incident on the M40.
Traffic was halted on the major trunk motorway at about midday on Friday, August 7, because of an incident.
On August 8, police confirmed that a 64-year-old man had died.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said “At around 11.30am yesterday (7/8), we were called to a sudden death on the M40 between J10 and J11.
“Sadly, a 64-year-old man died. His next of kin have been informed. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.”
The spokesperson added that this was the sudden death of an occupant of a vehicle.
