A world-renowned paint expert is hosting a workshop to show people how to transform everyday items.
Annie Sloan, creator of Chalk Paint, will run two furniture-painting sessions at Sobell House Hospice Charity’s Bicester Superstore on Saturday, September 19.
Ms Sloan said: "I'm delighted to be partnering with Sobell House Hospice Charity for this special workshop in Bicester.
"Whether you're new to painting or already love upcycling, I hope you'll come along, get creative and discover just how easy it is to transform everyday homeware with Chalk Paint.

Participants will learn Ms Sloan’s painting techniques and can either bring a small item from home or purchase one at the superstore to upcycle during the workshop.
The event supports the hospice and encourages hands-on creativity, including painting and personalising furniture and decorative objects.
Both beginners and experienced upcyclers are welcome to attend.

Proceeds from the event will help Sobell House Hospice Charity continue to provide palliative and end-of-life care across Oxfordshire.
Sobell House supports around 1,400 people at any given time and aims to enrich the lives of patients and their loved ones.
The charity helps people make the most of their time, whether through making memories or simply enjoying everyday moments.
Every year, the charity raises £3-4 million to keep its services running, offering specialist care, family support, and a focus on quality of life.
The workshops will take place at 10am and 1pm, with spaces expected to fill quickly. Advance booking is essential.
