An Oxford woman has been convicted of being in charge of an XL Bully which ripped off chunks of a teenager's arm.
Emergency services were called to a house in Wolvercote after the 'out of control' dog, named Blue, attacked two 16-year-old girls, a trial at Oxford Crown Court was previously told.
Stepsisters, Poppy Latimer and Emily Leat, were preparing for a Halloween party at the time of the 'awful' attack on October 29, 2022.
Gimanatu Aminu, 42, pleaded not guilty to two counts of being a person in charge of a dog which was dangerously out of control.
However on July 10, a jury found her guilty of both counts by unanimous verdicts.

After the verdicts were given, Judge Michael Roques told the jury: "Thank you very much indeed for all the care and attention you have given to this case. I'm very grateful to you."
A pre-sentence report was ordered for Aminu ahead of her sentencing on August 17. She was released on bail.
During the first day of the trial on July 6, the jury was told how Blue had released itself from a cage before setting on the two girls who had been visiting the defendant's daughter.
Prosecutor, Georgina Kuponiyi said the dog ran towards the three girls, before biting into Poppy's forearm and wrist.
The barrister added: "She tried to escape, but was cornered.
"The dog jumped at Emily and tried to bite her neck. It caused flesh and blood to pour out all over the room.
"It was nothing short of a miracle that Emily's injuries were limited to bite wounds. Poppy was even more fortunate."
Poppy told the prosecution that she heard Blue growl while locked in a 'small cage' in the middle of the living room before the attack began.
"The dog was clearly unhappy. I heard a bolt on the cage and we just saw the dog lunging towards us.
"I don't think the cage was built for a dog of that size at all. The dog jumped at my sister who got pushed down.
"I tried to make a run for it and I got cornered. He jumped at my arm. He was trying to rip through my coat.
"I froze, I was just in shock. Emily screamed and the dog chased after her. It was a lot more angry at that point.
"It was awful to watch. I could see chunks of her arm coming off. I don't think anybody could have calmed the dog down.
"It was seeing red at that point."
In police interview, Aminu was asked if Blue had ever been aggressive before. She replied: "No, never."
She was also asked if the cage suitable. She said: "Absolutely, this has never happened before. He doesn't bark a lot, not at all."
