Nostalgic football-themed video game NUTMEG! is set to support two charities with every purchase made until November 2027.
This initiative has been announced by the game's developer, Sumo Sheffield, and publisher, Secret Mode.
The beneficiaries of this charitable venture are the Joey Beauchamp Foundation and the Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund, both recognised for their commendable work in football communities.
They will receive £0.05 each from every sale of NUTMEG!.
Named in honour of former Oxford United player Joey Beauchamp, The Joey Beauchamp Foundation aims to address the pressing need for mental health support and awareness within the Oxfordshire community via collaboration and community engagement.
The foundation was created to address mental health issues and foster awareness in the Oxfordshire community.
Stuart Crook, director of the Joey Beauchamp Foundation, said: "Joey had a gift for bringing people together through football.
"This partnership with NUTMEG! celebrates that connection—turning passion for the game into positive impact for mental health."
Founded by the family of Dalian Atkinson, the Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund aims to promote active participation in sports among youngsters in Telford and Wrekin, fostering their growth and well-being.
NUTMEG! is a nostalgic football manager game with a deckbuilding twist.
Set in the golden era of football in the '80s and '90s, it is a nostalgic nod to the sport, recalling the days when football was all about the game.
Summing up the spirit of their charitable initiative, James Schall, chief publishing officer at Secret Mode, said: "NUTMEG! is a game close to my heart, and I am very pleased that it can also be a force for good.
"The Joey Beauchamp Foundation and the Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund are fantastic charities doing brilliant work in their communities, and we’re thrilled to be supporting both organisations with every sale of our game."
The Joey Beauchamp Foundation is a newly established charitable organisation dedicated to supporting mental health and associated social issues within the community.
