There were pirates galore at this party, all happily joining in singing and dancing.
The children, with their eye patches, hats, swords, and other regalia, were entertained by Australian folk singer John Warner and singing partner Margaret Walters.
The party took place at the community education centre at Grove, near Wantage, in 1988.
The children who took part were Matthew Guest, Callum Scobie, Luke Skidmore, Miles Ratcliffe, Zoe Scobie, Sam Blackford, Hannah Zuidhof, Joe Blackford, Ellie Lucas, and Becky and Ben Mabbett.
