A Banbury primary school is celebrating after winning two awards.
Cherry Fields Primary School was recognised both regionally and nationally at the Edurio Awards for excellence in parental engagement.
The school received both the national and regional Parent Choice Awards, which celebrate schools that foster supportive relationships with families, prioritising good communication and developing a strong and connected school community.
Claire Robertson, headteacher at Cherry Fields Primary School, said: "We are delighted to be recognised in this way and to know the awards are based on national surveys is wonderful.
"Our parents and carers are at the core of our success as a school, and to win two Parent Choice Awards makes us all feel very proud indeed."
The Edurio Awards recognise excellence and promote best practices across the education sector and are based on national survey data from the previous academic year.

GLF Schools is a multi-academy trust of 43 schools serving more than 17,000 people aged two to 19.
The trust comprises eight secondary schools and 35 primary settings across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, and the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Croydon.
