Oxfordshire Fire Service has confirmed the two firefighters hospitalised after last week's fire at Bicester Motion are concious and in a stable condition.

A fire at Bicester Motion on Buckingham Road, Bicester, broke out on Thursday evening prompting a major emergency response.

Three people were killed in the fire with two firefighters, 30-year-old Jennie Logan and 38-year-old Martyn Sadler, among the victims.

The tragedy also claimed the life of 57-year-old father-of-two, David Chester, who worked at the site.

Two firefighters were also hospitalised in the blaze.

This morning, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were concious and in a stable condition.

An update on its website said: “They are conscious and remain in a stable condition in hospital. They are receiving full support from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, along with their families.”

Yesterday Thames Valley Police confirmed there was no criminal investigation into the cause of the fire.
