Drivers have been warned about a major road closure which will take place in Abingdon next week.
The Abingdon Michaelmas Fair will take place on Monday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 8 from 12 noon to 11pm each day.
The Michaelmas Fair is the longest street fair in Europe, running from the Market Place, through the High Street, The Square and the full length of Ock Street.

The Abingdon Michaelmas Fair will start Monday the 7th. Road closures will be in place from tomorrow 7AM until Wednesday the 9th.

It starts setting up from 8am tomorrow Sunday (October 6), after which there are road closures and diversions to enable the traditional street fair to take place.
There are also closures and diversions the following week for the Runaway Fair.
