Thames Valley Police officers found a "substantial amount of drugs" on a male today in Oxford following a "foot chase".
Officers from Oxford Neighbourhood Policing say they were out on foot patrols earlier today (Wednesday, September 25) when a CCTV operator watched three young males use drugs down a city centre alleyway.
Police say the males walked off before the officers arrived, however they were stopped down the road.

All three were stopped but one of the youths attempted to get away.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "After a short foot chase, the male was detained in someone's front garden and searched, whereby a substantial amount of drugs were located.
"The other two have since been identified and will be spoken to in due course."
