A COURT hearing has taken place for a woman accused of drink-driving on the M40 whilst being in charge of a seven-year-old child.
Jasmit Chopra, of Glenfield Road, Leicester, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 29 charged with one count each of drink-driving and being drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven.
The 27-year-old is accused of drink-driving on the M40 near Oxford on August 3 this year with 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

It is alleged that the child was in the vehicle at the time.
Chopra appeared for her first hearing at the lower court.
The case has been adjourned for a trial of issue on September 13 at the same court.
