Oxford residents are set to benefit as Bluebird Care Oxford, South and West Oxfordshire comes under new ownership.

The home care provider currently looks after more than 124 residents and employs more than 60 care staff across the county.

The business is now owned by Tim Rowland-Jones and Peter Slough, experienced care operators committed to growing the company throughout Oxfordshire.

Both individuals entered the care sector after trying to access quality home care services for their own families.

They said: "We're delighted to welcome our customers and colleagues at Bluebird Care Oxford to our group of Bluebird Care offices across south west England and London."

They added: "We’re really looking forward to growing our team and customer base here in Oxfordshire, in order to help more people to access quality care services in the comfort of their own homes."

With 25 years' cumulative experience, the duo now manage four Bluebird Care offices, covering eight regions across southern England and London.

Their offices have consistently received 'Outstanding' or 'Good' ratings by the Care Quality Commission.

The acquisition of the Oxford office bolsters their position as the largest group within the national Bluebird Care network.

Services include live-in, home care, respite and night care, all designed to enable people to access the care services they need, while remaining in their own homes.
