A DOG owner is due to stand trial after being accused of being in charge of a cross-breed dog who allegedly injured a man on the edge of the city.
Lorraine Blackwell, of Barns Road, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (May 14) charged with one count of being an owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

It is alleged that on July 22 last year, the 50-year-old’s dog, named Milo, was dangerously out of control in Oxford Science Park in Garsington Road, Littlemore, injuring Alan Herman.
Blackwell has denied the offence and a trial is due to take place at the same court on September 11.
It is unknown if the dog, a large grey cross breed, has been seized.
