A man has been arrested after car smashed into the front of a house in a crash in an Oxford suburb.

The dramatic collision in Croft Road in Marston happened yesterday morning (Sunday, February 18) at around 4.20am.

A 25-year-old man from Oxford has been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously.

Pictures taken at the scene show a BMW has smashed through the front of a house with police tape surrounding the scene.

The window at the front of the home is also damaged following the single-vehicle crash.

The man has been released on police bail until April 28 while the investigation continues.
