The fiancée of Oxford Eastern Bypass crash victim Rishi Khera last night penned a poetic tribute to him.

Mr Khera, 21, died when his silver BMW and a lorry collided at the Littlemore roundabout at about 2am on Saturday.

His distraught fiancée - who asked not to be named - wrote she would "never be whole" without Rishi .

She added: "You'll always be my companion, my Jaan, my piglet, my life, my everything. Yours eternally."

Details of the funeral were yesterday still being arranged for the former Temple Cowley School and St Augustine's School pupil, who had recently moved to Coventry.

Last night, a passenger who survived the crash remained in hospital.

Front-seat passenger Ishy Mohammed had to be cut free from the wreckage.

He suffered broken arms and ribs and was last night in a stable condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

Another man who was in a rear seat suffered a broken collarbone in the incident, which left the road closed for up to eight hours.

It is believed Mr Khera's BMW crashed through the roundabout before the collision with the lorry. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash or anyone with information to call Pc Andy Wickens on 08458 505505.

Meanwhile, friends continued to leave tributes to Mr Khera on the Oxford Mail website One posted by Matthew from Coventry reads: "My Dearest Big Brother Rishi I'll will miss you so much you was always there with me from the beginning we had so many laughs and jokes."

The Hoosein-Khan family, from Oxford, wrote: "Our thoughts are with all the Khera family at this sad and tragic time.

"Rishi may you rest in peace. You are with the Angels now."

Neelam Bahl added: "May the Lord keep you at his side Rishi my lil bro. I know you are watching from above. We miss you very much and our lives will never be the same without you. We will always love you and remember the good times. Love you always. Your big sister."

POEM FOR RISHI

What is life when there is no you,

Have you really gone, it can't be true,

You are my heart and my soul,

You abandoned me now and I'll never be whole,

You took all our hearts and flew away,

Tomorrow and today we continue to pray,

You rest now Rish and guide us through,

Til that day when I can be with you.
