A CCTV image has been released of a man as police investigate a theft in Oxford.

Between 10am and 11.15am on Friday, January 26 a locked bike was stolen from a bike rack in St Ebbes Street.

The bike is a men’s mountain bike, light blue in colour with yellow specialised writing on the frame.

Thames Valley Police believe the man in the image may have important information in relation to their investigation.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Lee Dix, based at Oxford police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about this incident.

“If you are pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
