Another arrest has been made as police continued to investigate violent disorder before Oxford United’s clash with Reading last year.

This comes after five were arrested on Friday, February 2 and 13 people were arrested on Monday, January 29 following reports of public fights in Reading town centre on the night of the game (Tuesday, December 12).

A total of 10 people were also arrested on matchday following the incident in St Marys Butts, Friar Street and Station Approach.

Since then, a 21-year-old man from Caversham in the Reading area has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

He has since been released on conditional bail.

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of men officers would like to speak to following the incident.

“We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the individuals in these images to please get in touch as we believe they may have vital information about the incidents.
