A bistro café in Bicester has been given a new food hygiene rating.

Jenny’s Bistro Café on 13 Market Square in Bicester was handed a new food hygiene rating when it was inspected on June 5.

The café was given a four out of five score.

This means that of Cherwell’s 210 restaurants, cafes, and canteens, 160 have ratings of five and only two have zero ratings.

The café was rated good for management of food safety, good for cleanliness and condition of the facilities and generally satisfactory for hygienic food handling.

On Trip Advisor it has an average score of 3.5 after 65 reviews.

In October last year, one TripAdvisor user said: “We love this restaurant and used to go there a lot when we lived in the area but always make sure we visit when we are in Bicester, usually to take Mum out for breakfast.”
