Boys at Bartholomew School in Eynsham earned full marks - for cake making.

Fifty-six of them aged from 11 to 16 took part in a competition in 1965 and their cakes were later eaten by a group of elderly people who were guests at the school.

Bartholomew School is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive secondary school for over 1,300 students.
