ANOTHER Vale of White Horse District Council meeting has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items.

A meeting of the district council’s taxi licensing panel, which was due to take place on Wednesday, June 9, as there was “no items to consider”.

This comes after the cancellation of the district council’s planning committee on Wednesday, June 1 which was cancelled because of “insufficient applications”.

A spokesperson from the Vale of White Horse District Council said: “The taxi licensing panel meeting was cancelled because there were no items to consider.

“The next meeting is expected to take place on Monday, July 18. The meeting [on June 1] was cancelled as there were insufficient applications ready to come forward for determination by the committee.”
