A woman in her twenties was sexually assaulted in Oxford city centre.

The victim was being given a piggyback by her boyfriend on St John’s Street when a man touched her inappropriately over her clothing.

The offence happened between 10.30pm and 11pm on Wednesday 11 May.

Thames Valley Police released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

Investigating officer PC Stephanie Derrick said: “We are releasing these CCTV images in connection with a sexual assault in Oxford.

“Due to our enquiries, we believe that the man pictured in the CCTV may have vital information about the incident.

“If you are the man or know who he is, please contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible by calling 101, quoting reference 43220204384.”
