Oxford has several new restaurants opening their doors to hungry customers in coming months.

From American style BBQ to desserts, these new additions will bring fresh flavours and choice across the city.

In recent weeks, a new Korean restaurant opened on London Road, Chopstix joined the city centre on Cornmarket and Temptations desserts started serving in Summertown.

These are the new restaurants you can look forward to:

Elle’s Deli

Oli’s Thai has been completely gutted and transformed, as it prepares to open as Elle’s Deli in June.

It will host monthly Oli's Thai nights once it reopens. 

The deli mix of Thai and Spanish food with some seating in the outside area.

Burnout BBQ

Burnout BBQ will move from its current site on Islip Road, Sunnymead, to new premises on Banbury Road, Summertown, with an opening date of June 6.

The owner, local lad Malcolm Moore, said there is "nothing like it" in Oxford and likened it to trendy Hard Rock Café.

The BBQ joint will serve Texan style dishes from a custom hot rod, including burgers, hot dogs, glazed ribs, pulled pork, chicken and more.

Treatz

Dessert parlour chain Treatz is opening a new branch on London Road in Headington.

There is currently no set opening date, although work is underway at the site to transform it from an  Barclays bank.

Treatz serves a range of dessert options including waffles, crepes, ice cream, cookie dough and cakes, as well as milkshakes and mocktails.

Gees Restaurant & Bar

Although not necessarily a new opening, Gees Restaurant & Bar has undergo a £1,000,000 refurbishment.

The Banbury Road restaurant will be reopening with two new dining areas and a new head chef, Matt Smith, at the helm.

The historic restaurant is expected to reopen during the week of May 23.
