A man has appeared in court accused of wounding and controlling behaviour.
Michael Lincoln, 56, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, is charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, controlling and coercive behaviour between March 3 and April 2, 2022, and criminal damage to a TV at a property in Littlemore.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday morning, Lincoln was not asked to enter pleas to the allegations.
After an application from Lincoln’s barrister, Lyall Thompson, Judge Ian Pringle QC agreed to put the case back until May 25 for an adjourned plea and trial preparation hearing and remanded the defendant in custody.
A provisional trial date was set for September 26. The case is expected to last three days.
Cathy Olliver appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service.
