TWO people were caught committing crimes at the Westgate Centre in Oxford.
Adam Jones, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, stole a perfume worth £83.50 from John Lewis at the shopping centre on November 7, 2021.

He admitted guilt on December 10, 2021 at Oxford Magistrates' Court and was sentenced to prison for 26 weeks.
The court ruled that the offence was so serious because Jones targeted high value items and had a record of previous offending.
He must also pay compensation of £100.
Molly Liptrot, 19, of Broad Oak, Oxford closed the entrance and exit of the Westgate Centre car park, causing a nuisance to the public on April 11, 2021.

She also smashed bottles and sat on the edge of a ledge.
She admitted guilt on July 6, 2021 at Oxford Magistrates' Court and was given a community order which she must comply with by December 8, 2023 where she must carry out rehabilitation activity for a maximum of 40 days.
