NO ONE likes potholes especially when they cause damage to your car.

The pesky holes always pop up in Oxford with reports being made by people who live in the city calling on the county council to make urgent repairs.

With it being National Pothole Day today, we've rounded up all of the latest pothole reports that have been made.

The council's Fix My Street system shows 33 pothole reports in the past month in Oxford.

Paget Road

An anoymous report says: "These potholes keep coming as they have just been patched several times. The road is really uneven and may need a long term treatment rather than repatching."

Phipps Road

Simon Ottino made two reports about a line of potholes, two large potholes and a long 'extended' pothole.

He said: "This whole road needs resurfacing as it has many potholes. In addition many of the kerbstones are disintegrating and need replacing."

Oxfordshire County Council is investigating.

High Street

Rebecca Coomber reported about a pothole that left her with a burst tyre.

She said: "This pothole was here prior to Christmas and has worsened considerably. It is deep in parts and has a dangerous edge due to manhole cover/sewer cover.

"It has caused my tyre to burst today and would be extremely dangerous for a cyclist."

Another anonymous report was also made about this pothole.

Boults Lane

This pothole was reported anonymously.

They said: "Pothole in a route heavily used by children and others on bicycles, a clear danger to cyclists."

Parks Road

An 'unmarked round half meter-wide pothole' was reported in Parks Road anonymously.

Linton Road

Michael Strugale reported a 'one metre long pothole' next to the junction to Banbury Road, which he says is 'getting deeper with the rain'.

Iffley Turn

A report was made about potholes on the mini roundabout

An anonymous report says: "This situation has been reported and I received a report that it had been repaired. If you look at the photographs attached you will see that a full repair hasn't been undertaken.

"This area of the mini roundabout is run over by large vehicles which will cause a quick deterioration of the situation."

Botley Road

A large pothole was reported.

An anonymous person says: "Very dangerous as it looks wide and deep. Could not take a picture as I was driving."

Oxfordshire County Council is investigating.

High Street

A report was made about potholes making the High Street 'extremely dangerous'.

An anoynmous person said in their report: "These have been here for some time and no action seems to have happened despite the risk to road users."

Oxfordshire County Council said it has investigated the report and it has been 'actioned to be fixed'.

Junction of Old Road and Quarry Road

Multiple potholes were reported and are said to have been here for 'over a year'.

An anonymous report says: "They are getting worse and hard to navigate, especially on a bike where they are dangerous.

"This junction is busy as the cut-through from the ring road, through the Quarry to the hospitals is a popular rat run."

London Road

A 'sump pothole' has become a 'driving hazard'.

Trish Elphinstone said: "Fairly deep pothole which is a driving hazard. Cars are visibly swerving to avoid it."

Green Street

A report was made about an '18x12 inch pothole that is 5 inches deep'.

Warwick Street

A person who remained anonymous said: "Fill pothole please."

The county council says it has been 'actioned to be fixed'.

Stapleton Road

A report was made about a 30x60cm pothole in the road that is quickly getting bigger.

An anoynmous report says: "This pothole has been here for a while (months), but has recently started growing quite quickly.

"It's deep enough now that the sub-road is exposed and as it's in the route of most tyres, impacts from vehicles are rapidly enlarging the pothole and dislodging more material over the carriageway."

The county council says it has been 'actioned to be fixed'.

Percy Street

Two 'deep' potholes were reported in the road.

The county council says they have been 'actioned to be fixed'.

Townsend

An anonymous person said a pothole that was repaired before is back

They said: "Same pothole same problem. Plus we have the lip onto the road that is coming up which poses a health and safety problem."

Iffley Road turning

A report was made about multiple potholes in the road.

An anonymous report says: "Right on the corner, turning left onto Donnington bridge from iffley road lie multiple holes. Was fixed, undone now."

Temple Road near Kirby Close

Henley Avenue

An anoymous report says: "Numerous potholes along the service road adjacent to Rose Hill Road."

Croft Road

An anonymous report says: "Several potholes mainly along centre of road, but at least one closer to heather rd junction."

Cowley Road near Saunders Road

Simon Ottino said in a report: "This pothole is a danger to cyclists. It needs fixing immediately."

Marshall Road

Simon Ottino said: "Please fill the pothole."

Graeme Rolfe said in a report: "The surface around a small manhole cover has fallen away leaving a pothole with sharp edges. It is dangerous and needs fixing ASAP."

An anonymous report said a pothole in the road 'could kill a cyclist'.

Harberton Mead

A report was made saying the road is full of broken road and potholes.

An anonymous report says: "The current condition of this road has been so for more than three years."

A report was made about potholes on the road and footpath.

Simon Ottono said: "Potholes on road and footpath which are potential trip hazards on Junction Road near Don Bosco Close."

Woodstock Road

A report was made about a 'developing pothole' in the bus lane.

An anonymous report says: "Developing pothole calling for repair. Location is bus stop Woodstock Close, city bound."
