YESTERDAY, thousands of shoppers lined up outside major retailers in hopes of snapping up the biggest bargains of the year in Boxing Day sales.
But some eagled-eyed shoppers online noticed a hilarious blunder on the Next wesbite.
A glitch last night saw a baby dress being sold for £4,000.
The Boden 'blue puff sleeve nostagic dress' which has a little white peter pan collar and farmyard animals appliqued onto the skirt was on sale on the retailer for £4,043.
At around 11pm the dress was in stock in 0-3months, 3-6months, 6-9months and 3-4years but was unavailable in sizes 12-18months, 1.5-2years and 2-3years.
This morning, the dress is still available to buy online.
Writing on Facebook, one person suggested the dress might be priced "ridiculously high" so that nobody buys it.
Another person added that it would be a "hilarious" prank to play on a partner.
A third said it was "probably" just a typo error.
