The rally in Oxford is one of several that will be happening today across the country.
This includes a demonstration in London at the House of Lords to add pressure to the Lords third reading and vote on the Policing, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.
Previously thousands of people have marched in towns and cities in protest against the PCSCBill, which would give police in England and Wales more power to impose conditions on non-violent protests – including those deemed too noisy or a nuisance, with those convicted liable to fines or jail terms.
