AN OXFORD student is accused of trying to blackmail a man out £500 in a Tinder honeytrap.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Monday, Raluca Vasiu, 24, pleaded not guilty to a single count of blackmail.
Prosecutors allege she made an unwarranted demand of £500 to a man on March 28 after meeting him online.
Vasiu, of Charles Street, Oxford, was granted bail by Recorder John Bate-Williams and ordered to return to the crown court on March 7 for the trial.
Claire Fraser appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service at the short plea hearing on Monday. The defendant was represented by Alistair Grainger.
