COUNCILLORS are revisiting the call to reject plans for 12 new student accommodation blocks in Oxford.
The plan is proposed by Oxford Brookes University at its accommodation site at Clive Booth Student Village in Headington and was rejected last month.
The university had asked to demolish twelve existing student buildings and erect twelve buildings in its place.
They were set to have six stories and house about 500 more students.

Now, the application has been called in to the Oxford City Council Planning Review Committee by councillors Upton, Rowley, Cook, Hollingsworth, Brown, Munkonge, Diggins, Fry, Pressell, Tidball, Aziz, Turner and Rehman.
The Planning Review Committee is recommended to approve the application.
The meeting will be held on Thursday at 6pm at Oxford Town Hall in the Assembly Room.
