POSITIVE cases of coronavirus in Oxfordshire have risen by 419 in the latest figures.
One death was recorded in the county, in the latest statistics, released by the Government.
The new cases were recorded as follows:
- Oxford (68)
- Cherwell (100)
- South Oxfordshire (84)
- Vale of White Horse (87)
- West Oxfordshire (80)
These latest figures mean there has now been a total of 68,027 recorded cases of Covid-19 in the county.
Across the UK, 42,776 new people had a positive test result reported today.
Between October 7 and today, 273,510 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This shows an increase of 13.2 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
There were 136 deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in the latest figures.
Between October 7 and today, there has been 788 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.
This shows an increase of 2.3 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
The latest vaccination figures reveal that more than 49.2 million people have been given a first dose, while more than 45.2 million people have been given a second dose.
