THERE are 172 new Covid-19 cases registered in Oxfordshire in the last 24 hours and zero deaths, according to the latest Government figures.
As of 4pm on Monday, there are 36 patients with the virus admitted in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with three of them on ventilation.
In comparison, there were no beds occupied by Covid-19 patients four weeks ago.
The rate of infection in West Oxfordshire now stands at 5,258 cases per 100,000 people, far lower than the England average of 9,044.

The UK has recorded a further 24 Covid-related deaths and 21,952 new cases with 912 patients admitted to hospital, Public Health England confirmed.
Cases identified through a positive lateral flow test – those which can deliver results within half an hour – will no longer be counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
