Today new details were published about the Government’s Project Gigabit fund, which will see rural homes and businesses in Oxfordshire get the fastest broadband speeds on the market.

68,800 homes and businesses across the county will benefit from gigabit speed internet.

Gigabit internet has a speed of 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps) - enough to download a HD film in less than 30 seconds.
