OXFORD United’s pre-season clash at home to Peterborough United will no longer be played in two back-to-back games, and instead will be played at the same time.

Initially, plans were in place for two games at the Kassam Stadium, however in order to preserve the pitch, the clubs have agreed to play the matches at United’s training ground.

The games will kick off at 5pm on July 27.

The matches were always going to be played behind closed doors.

The possibility of both games being streamed is being explored.
