Abbey Meadow pool in Abingdon to finally reopen
Abbey Meadow outdoor pool reopens for the summer today.
Vale and White Horse District Council have worked with leisure operator and charitable social enterprise Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL) to get the pool ready in time for the school holidays.
Cllr Emily Smith, leader of Vale of White Horse District Council, said: “The staff have done an amazing job to bring the pool back to life, Covid secure and ready for visitors this week."
It will be open until early September. Covid 19 restrictions will still be in place, with all bookings made in advance using the Better App or Better UK website. The splash pad reopens on July 19.
