A PAIR of cannabis farmers were caught with more than 200 plants.

Taulant Kaca, 33, and Xhunjor Abazi, 20, will be sentenced next week for growing the drug crop at a house in Oxford.

The Albanian nationals were found at the property in Westbury Crescent on June 7.

Prosecutor Christopher Pembridge told Oxford Crown Court on Friday police discovered 214 cannabis plants, although some were still relatively small.

Appearing via video link from HMP Bullingdon, Kaca, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to producing a class B drug. His co-defendant Abazi, of no fixed address, admitted the charge when he appeared before Oxford magistrates last month.

Judge Maria Lamb adjourned sentencing until July 8.
