A DISQUALIFIED driver who repeatedly got behind the wheel despite a roads ban has been jailed.
Adam Marmont, 25, admitted driving a black VW Golf dangerously on Welch Way, Witney, on April 15, 2021, without insurance and in spite of his driving disqualification.
He was caught driving a different Golf on Tower Hill, Witney, on February 3.
Marmont, of Hyde Meadow View, Witney, pleaded guilty at the magistrates’ court to dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and possession of cannabis.
Recorder John Ryder QC jailed him for 17 months at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday. Marmont was banned from driving for two years and must pass and extended retest if he wants to drive legally.
