A PAIR of Birmingham drug dealers will be sentenced for selling heroin and crack cocaine in Banbury.
Asim Akram, 36, and Ibrar Hussain, 41, were caught with the drugs at Morrisons, Swan Close, in the town on May 18, 2021.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court via video link from HMP Bullingdon, Akram, of Phillimore Road, Birmingham, and Hussain, of Foxton Road, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs. Akram said he was entering his pleas on a basis.
Judge Michael Gledhill QC heard that Akram faced a mandatory minimum sentence of seven years as a ‘third strike’ drug dealer.
The judge remanded the men into custody. They will be sentenced on July 26.
