"Last Tuesday, a 52-year-old UK national was found unresponsive at his flat in Acacia Project supported accommodation run by Homeless Oxfordshire. Emergency services were called and on arrival they confirmed that he had died.

"The man who died had been known to homelessness services since 2014 and had been a resident at the Acacia Project since 2016. Thames Valley Police are responsible for notifying next of kin.

"I would like to extend my condolences to his family and friends. As is customary when someone dies on the streets or in supported accommodation, the council will respect his privacy and make no further comment on this tragic and untimely death."
